The school is seeking a dedicated Dance Teacher to cover a one‑year maternity leave from January 2026. This full‑time position is perfect for a passionate teacher eager to contribute to a high‑performing department with a fantastic reputation for excellence in the Arts. Final‑year trainee teachers will also be considered, particularly those who may be available part‑time from January, moving to full‑time from March/April for the remainder of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inspiring dance lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and assess lessons in line with departmental schemes of work
* Encourage creativity, self‑expression, and teamwork in every class
* Support school performances, productions, and extra‑curricular activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and uphold high standards of teaching and learning

To be successful in this role, you’ll need
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it (final‑year trainees welcome)
* Experience teaching dance at KS3 and KS4

* Strong organisation, communication, and classroom management skills
