Due to exceptionally high demand, we are actively recruiting Support Workers to cover shifts within Children’s Residential Care, Post-16 Supported Living, Mental Health Units, Homeless Hostels, and Young People’s Services across the West Sussex area, including but not limited to Chichester, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Horsham, Crawley, and surrounding locations. We offer Support Worker shifts assisting vulnerable children and young people across a variety of settings throughout the Hampshire area. Available shifts include early, late, long days, sleep-ins, and waking nights, allowing you to select a pattern that best suits your lifestyle. You may work consistently within a single project to provide continuity or across multiple projects for greater variety and flexibility. Our current Support Workers appreciate the freedom to work as much or as little as they wish, whether balancing other commitments or relying on this role as their primary source of income. We are seeking individuals, preferably with experience supporting children or young people, or those from related professional backgrounds. Role Requirements Successful applicants will demonstrate the skills and qualities necessary to support vulnerable children and young people who have faced significant challenges leading to their current circumstances. As a Support Worker, you will be emotionally resilient, patient, and empathetic, recognising the importance of consistency in your approach and communication. Maintaining clear and safe professional boundaries with the children and young people in your care is essential.
