An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Maternity and Gynaecology teams. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to support the efficient administration and support the workforce coordination.

The post holder will work as a key member of the maternity and gynaecology department, taking a lead role in both day‑to‑day management and future planning of the inpatient and outpatient midwifery/gynaecology workforce's off duty, via the e‑rostering system known as Health Roster.

This post is instrumental in supporting the creation, implementation and management of staffing rosters.

Please note that the closing date is given as a guide, we reserve the right to close this vacancy once a sufficient number of applications have been received.

You will also lead in planning the allocation on the roster for staff's professional development, appraisal dates and training fixtures.

* The post holder will work closely with all maternity and gynaecology staff to ensure a consistent level of staffing is maintained, to enable the ward/department to run a high‑quality service to women and their families.
* The post holder will work closely with the senior team to incorporate staff rotation plans onto the Health Roster.
* Work collaboratively with the ward/department managers, education team and medical roster coordinators to ensure all staff are allocated Midwifery Mandatory or other appropriate training for their role in a timely matter and as per CNST requirements, whilst ensuring optimum staffing levels are maintained throughout the unit.
* You will be in constant and direct liaison with the senior midwifery leaders when you have identified any unplanned or future deficits in staffing allocation.
