IT Support Analyst
We are currently looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst to assist the IT Operations team in the delivery of IT service and support across the group. This position will be an industrial placement located at the group’s Head Office in Crewe, Cheshire, UK. The successful applicant will be at the front‑line, dealing directly with customers who have IT issues and requests and working closely with support teams to resolve support requests quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and log people’s requests and faults submitted by telephone, email, and the IT Service Desk self‑service logging tool.
- Prioritise support calls and allocate them to the relevant technical support team(s).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults.
- Ensure that all support faults and requests received into the IT Service Desk are answered and responded to within agreed timelines.
- Keep internal customers informed of any IT‑related issues that might impact their teams.
- Analyse call logs to spot trends and underlying issues.
- Provide first‑line technical support over core technologies as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in providing excellent customer service and/or administrative excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and passion for IT support.
- Self‑motivated with strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive, flexible attitude to work.
