A welcoming Specialist School in Oxford is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) including Autism, Speech and Language Needs, Sensory Processing Difficulties, Physical Disabilities and Communication Needs.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
* Help students overcome emotional, behavioural and learning barriers.
* Apply psychological theory and behaviour strategies in the classroom.
* Create a safe, engaging and positive learning environment.
* Work alongside Teachers, Therapists and SEN professionals.
Qualifications
* Psychology graduate.
* Previous experience working with children desirable but not essential.
* Resilience and a positive can‑do attitude.
* Friendly, proactive and enthusiastic.
