We’re hiring a commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to join a high-performing sales team, focused on converting opportunities into revenue and driving consistent growth.

This role sits at the centre of a major growth phase. You’ll be working with a genuinely new, category-defining product within the higher education space, already generating strong interest across the market.

It’s a rare opportunity to sell something differentiated, with clear value and no direct competition, backed by an established brand and a consistent flow of qualified pipeline.

This is a consultative, closing-focused role where you’ll take ownership of high-quality opportunities and guide them through to successful outcomes. Alongside this, you will play a key role in executing the go-to-market approach, ensuring how we position and land the product continues to evolve with the market.


The role

You will manage the full sales cycle from initial discovery through to close, working across complex organisations and engaging multiple stakeholders to build alignment and drive decisions. The focus is on understanding client needs, shaping solutions, and progressing opportunities with structure and consistency.

Your day to day will include:

* Managing the full sales cycle from discovery to close
* Executing the go-to-market strategy through live opportunities and client engagement
* Leading consultative conversations to understand client challenges and position solutions effectively
* Multithreading across organisations, engaging and aligning multiple stakeholders and decision-makers
* Running structured discovery, demos, and commercial discussions
* Building clear business cases and articulating value and ROI
* Maintaining momentum across multiple opportunities and ensuring consistent deal progression
* Collaborating with the wider commercial team to maximise conversion
* Owning your pipeline and delivering against revenue targets


What we’re looking for

* 8+ years of experience in a closing role within technology, media, or digital solutions
* A proven track record of converting complex opportunities into revenue
* Experience navigating multi-stakeholder environments and running multithreaded sales processes
* A strong consultative sales approach with the ability to run structured sales cycles
* Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and managing objections
* Strong organisation and pipeline management skills
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-driven environment

This role will suit someone who is commercially sharp, credible at a senior level, and able to manage complexity without losing momentum.
