Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Information Architect to manage change within our business and information architecture. This role involves designing, creating, and managing changes to support business transformation, ensuring data is organized, understood, and available for analysis to align with business objectives. The architect will assess opportunities and pain points, managing initiatives to achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities
* Develop strategic plans to improve business integration and transformation, addressing capability, process, and information quality issues.
* Document and analyze changes to business and information architectures.
* Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions.
* Define and implement technology strategies and innovation roadmaps.
* Establish and advise on process excellence within AVEVA.
* Translate business requirements into actionable initiatives using capability mapping and process modeling.
* Manage engagement with senior stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic roadmaps.
* Identify opportunities for simplification, reusable services, and cost savings.
* Lead quality assurance and governance of architectural artifacts.
* Develop standards and processes to ensure data quality.
* Collaborate with IT, analytics, and business teams to meet data needs.
* Evaluate emerging technologies for process modeling, machine learning, AI, and analytics.
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum five years of relevant experience in business/information architecture, analysis, or solution design for strategic initiatives.
* Experience leading projects in business capability and data modeling.
* Proficiency in business architecture techniques like capability mapping, strategic analysis, and process architecture.
* Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
* Experience with information architecture techniques such as role modeling, master data management, and BI.
* Strategic thinking and ability to relate architecture to business needs and culture.
* Assessment skills for traditional and modern data architecture components.
* Ability to identify and adopt new technologies, especially in ML/AI.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate across complex teams and guide solution design to meet business needs.
