Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in managing and planning stock investment while maximizing availability to support the business and exceed customer expectations. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Team Leadership: Inspiring and managing your team to deliver on stock availability and wider business goals.
* Demand Planning: Managing demand and stock investment to maximize sales and maintain optimal inventory levels.
* Problem Resolution: Proactively identifying potential issues and driving swift, effective resolutions to mitigate business impact.
* Collaborative Relationships: Building strong, effective relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers to ensure operational excellence.
* Financial Acumen: Utilising business intelligence and numerical analysis to manage budgets and drive operational efficiency.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail merchandising and a data-driven approach. We are looking for an individual with:
* Significant demand planning experience and a strong understanding of WSSI (Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake).
* Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence at all levels.
* A proactive and organised approach with a strong focus on delivering results.
