About the role
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Employability Skills Advisor to support the transformative employability service at the University of Greenwich. The role focuses on providing high‑quality, personalised support to students, delivering workshops, developing learning resources, and embedding employability content across the curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one‑to‑one guidance and support to students, helping them develop employability skills.
* Facilitate and lead skills workshops.
* Develop and maintain digital careers resources.
* Create learning materials to embed employability content into the curriculum.
* Collaborate with academic and professional services staff within the Faculty of Engineering and Science.
* Support students in exploring career options and preparing for future careers.
Qualifications
* Experience delivering workshops and developing learning materials for students.
* Experience providing guidance and support in an educational setting.
* Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to inclusive teaching and the support of diverse student groups.
Details
Location: Medway Campus (regular travel to the Maritime Greenwich campus in London)
Salary: £32,080 to £37,694 per annum
Contract type: Fixed Term – up to 31 December 2026
