Overview
Supporting service users with learning disabilities in their home based in Clitheroe with great access to public transport links. We require a support worker who is resourceful in researching what goes on in their local area and has the energy to keep up with them and their active lifestyles.
Responsibilities
* Support our active and social clients as they take part in local community activities and events. Activities include swimming, going to the gym and taking long walks, bringing a sense of fun and humour to these interests and helping with new daily living challenges.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Energetic, committed, a good team worker and enthusiastic with strong communication skills.
* Ability to support clients to live rich and rewarding lifestyles.
* Flexible working hours including some evening and weekend work; part time up to 22.5 hours per week; car driving is desirable.
* We welcome applications from experienced carers as well as those starting a new career in this sector.
