A well-established organisation is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join its finance team in Warrington. This is a varied, hands-on role offering excellent exposure across stock, reconciliations, reporting and month-end processes, working closely with an experienced Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities
* Ownership of the stock take process and related reporting
* Intercompany reconciliations
* Support with month-end and year-end close
* Balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
* Fixed asset reporting
* Tax pack preparation and reporting
* Review and preparation of expense claims for approval
* Sales and refund reporting
* Provide cover for accounts payable and cash management
* Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc duties as required
About You
* Previous experience xxuwjjq in an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
* Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills
* Good Excel capability
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Well organised with strong time management
* Confident working independently and willing to question or challenge
* Experience with Sage Intacct is advantageous but not essential
