TLTP are recruiting for a PMLD, complex needs Teacher to teach in a specialist college in Uxbridge.
This will involve teaching Entry level / functional skills level 1, low level post 19 life skills.
This specialist school is for students aged 4-19 with complex needs, PMLD, ASD and/or additional needs. Situated in Barnet, it is a small specialist school catering for a range of SEN needs.
To apply, you will need to have QTS or QTLS and some SEN experience ideally.
The teacher will be responsible for the progress of all pupils in their specialism.
The teacher will coordinate the work of a team of SEN TAs and provide direct teaching to meet the needs of the class groups and pupils.
You will look at pupils holistically, drawing on a range of social care and teaching strategies to meet their needs while promoting interest, safety, and well-being.
Delivering pupil-focused and creative lessons according to an agreed timetable.
Provide opportunities for pupils to experience and understand English in various contexts.
