Responsibleforoverseeingandmanagingallaspectsofmanufacturingandfabricationoperations.Thisincludeshandlingtheproductioncyclefromorderconfirmationtofinalproductdelivery,ensuringefficiency,quality,andsafetyinoperations.Theroleinvolvesdirectcoordinationwithkeystakeholdersincludingproductionplanning,transport,andsalesteamstoensureoptimalcostcontrolandexcellentcustomerfeedback.TheOperationsManagerwillleadandmanageproductionsupervisors,drivingcontinuousimprovementsinefficiency,costreduction,andcompliancewithsafetyandqualitystandards.
Overseeallaspectsofthecut-and-bentandfabricationoperations,ensuringefficientproductionprocesses,optimalresourceutilisation,andon-timedelivery.
Ensuremanufacturingassetsareperformingoptimallyengagingwithmaintenanceteamstoensurepreventativemaintenanceisenablingcontinuousproduction.Coordinateremedialmaintenanceactionswhenrequiredensuringminimaldowntime
Managematerialstorage,stocklevels,andinventoryflowtosupportuninterruptedproductionwhileminimizingwaste
Workcloselywiththeproductionplanningteamtoalignoperationswithorderrequirementsandoptimiseutilisationofmanufacturingcapabilityandmaterials
Liaisewithdesignteamtounderstanddesignelementsandadviseproductioncapabilityandcapacitywhenrequired
Ensureefficientcoordinationwiththetransportteamtofacilitatetimelydeliveriesandstreamlinelogisticsoperations.
Providetechnicalexpertiseandmarketguidancetothesalesteam,supportingbusinessgrowthandcustomerengagementefforts.
QUALIFICATIONS&EXPERIENCE
Musthavepreviousexperienceinmanufacturingand/oroperationsmanagement
DegreeinManufacturing/ProductionManagementorsimilar
Provenabilitytoleadteams,managesupervisors,anddriveperformanceinamanufacturingenvironment.Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskillstoimproveoperations,resolveproductionchallenges,andenhanceefficiency.
Abilitytoworkcross-functionallywithproductionplanning,sales,andtransportteamstoalignobjectivesandstreamlineprocesses.
Desirable:
Knowledgeofrebarmanufacturingprocesses,fabrication,welding,assembly,andlogistics.
