Responsibilities
* Provides daily supervision to the maintenance team to deliver safe and efficient production performance within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environment framework.
* Ensures full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, identifying hazards, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring the team receives appropriate training.
* Supports and maintains area staffing levels within operational constraints to meet production targets.
* Leads the team in performing running checks, repairs, and the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programme.
* Drives the achievement of equipment uptime objectives and responds to breakdowns using safe working practices to minimise downtime.
* Manages day‑to‑day equipment performance and oversees automation‑related improvement projects.
* Works closely with operational and support teams across the site to help achieve quality and volume targets.
Qualifications
* Technical background in maintenance.
* Experience resolving key constraints and delivering improvements through root‑cause analysis.
* Previous experience in team or people management.
* Understanding of maintenance systems and performance metrics.
* Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
