Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Team – Role Overview
The Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy Team is part of Integrated Musculoskeletal services: Physiotherapy Outpatients, Community Orthopaedics and the Community Chronic Pain Service. We provide musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy to the local population through community hospital physiotherapy departments and outreach clinics, operating a hybrid model of face‑to‑face and virtual consultations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive musculoskeletal assessment and treatment of outpatients.
* Effectively and efficiently manage a complex caseload of musculoskeletal patients as a Band 6 Health Care Professional (HCP).
* Assist in the education and training of physiotherapy colleagues, apprentices, assistants and students.
* Safeguard patients through sound clinical skills and risk assessments.
* Ensure best clinical outcomes by applying up‑to‑date skills and evidence‑based policies.
* Respect, empower and work in partnership with patients to ensure a positive experience.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Band 6 Health Care Professional level.
* Current colleagues of Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare, or student nurses/Newly Qualified Nurses (NQNs) may apply.
* Full UK driving licence or equivalent EU licence (if driving is a requirement). Ability to drive for the role is essential.
