About the role
:
As a Bank Primary Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and classroom cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, adapting quickly to different schools and year groups.
The role will include:
1. Delivering engaging, effective lessons in line with school planning
2. Providing classroom cover for short-term and day-to-day absences
3. Maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment
4. Managing behaviour in line with school policies
5. Assessing pupil understanding and providing feedback where required
6. Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
7. Adapting confidently to different schools, year groups, and routines
Working pattern: Flexible bank work, term time
Location: Primary schools across Bristol
Travel: Ability to drive is essential due to multiple school locations

About you:
The successful Bank Primary Teacher will:
12. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
13. Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (essential)
14. Have experience teaching in UK primary schools
15. Be confident delivering lessons across the primary age range
16. Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
17. Be adaptable, reliable, and professional
18. Be able to provide suitable references and hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS
