Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + London Weighting (£5,319) + 20% Ad Sales Bonus, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience. The salary range reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: Office based in London. This is a hybrid role, balancing office and home working.

THE ROLE
The Account Director will oversee the delivery of high-quality content campaigns and drive commercial performance within the Programme Partnerships team at StoryWorks. Responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline of partners, engaging with senior decision-makers, and ensuring campaigns meet both commercial and creative objectives.
Responsibilities
* Lead projects from research and prospecting to pitching, closing, and account growth.
* Achieve quarterly and annual KPIs and revenue targets, fostering repeat business.
* Collaborate with creative and production teams to align content with client goals.
* Manage negotiations, contracts, and liaise with legal, finance, and compliance teams.
* Build long-term relationships with C-suite stakeholders and industry bodies.
* Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and content development.
* Communicate effectively across development and production stages.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in a commercial or business development role.
* Track record of exceeding targets and managing complex deals.
* Excellent communication skills, engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting across media platforms.
* Experience in managing long-term client relationships and uncovering revenue opportunities.
* Strong time management and initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Criteria
* Ability to interpret complex concepts and interest in global current affairs.
* Ability to articulate the craft of writers, filmmakers, and designers.
* Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce.
