Location: Bolton Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary & Secondary) Contract: Full-time Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP Salary: £106 - £120 per day Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? We are currently recruiting dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work within both primary and secondary schools across Bolton. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and other complex needs. The Role: Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons Supporting pupils' academic progress, social development, and emotional wellbeing Implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence Working collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals The Ideal Candidate: Experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school experience desirable but not essential) A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children What We Offer: Supportive and welcoming school environments Ongoing training and professional development Opportunities in both primary and secondary settings A chance to make a meaningful difference in pupils' lives All roles are subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references in line with safeguarding requirements.
