As a Primary Cover Teacher with New Directions, you’ll deliver pre‑planned lessons, bring positivity into the classroom, and ensure pupils remain engaged and excited about learning. With day‑to‑day, short‑term, and long‑term opportunities available, you’ll enjoy flexibility without compromising stability.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Delivering high‑quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
*Following pre-set lesson plans and maintaining learning continuity
*Creating a calm, positive and inclusive environment
*Managing classroom behaviour confidently and professionally
*Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
*Stepping into new schools with confidence and enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*A confident, adaptable practitioner ready for varied school settings
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*A positive, supportive and child-centred approach
*A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
*Reliability, professionalism, and a passion for teaching
