We are looking for an experienced Timber Operative to join our busy Timber Division within a large, well‑established facility in Aldridge. This role involves creating bespoke timber packing solutions from drawings, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistent workmanship.
🔨 Key Responsibilities
* Manufacture bespoke timber crates, frames, pallets, and packing solutions
* Work from technical drawings with precise, concise measurements
* Cut, assemble, and finish timber products using various tools
* Follow production schedules and meet quality standards
* Maintain a clean, safe working environment
* Manual handling of materials up to 25kg
✔️ What You'll Need
* Experience working with timber in a manufacturing, joinery, or carpentry environment
* Strong measurement skills and excellent attention to detail
* Ability to confidently read and interpret drawings
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
* Good understanding of workshop Health & Safety
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physically able to lift and handle loads up to 25kg
