Power Systems Engineer – Solihull
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Power Systems Engineer to join a leading building services consultancy based in Solihull. This is a permanent, full-time role offering exposure to a wide range of innovative and technically challenging projects.
The Role
* Provide specialist power systems input across a variety of projects.
* Develop technical reports, specifications, and designs.
* Liaise with DNOs and contractors throughout project execution.
* Carry out network design from Low Voltage up to 132kV.
* Undertake load flow, fault level, protection, harmonic and arc flash studies.
* Support generation schemes including wind, solar, and standby power.
* Conduct site surveys, inspections, and commissioning support.
Key Requirements
* Degree in Power Systems Engineering (or related discipline).
* Proficiency with software such as ETAP, IPSA+, ERACS, Power Factory, or Amtech HV.
* Strong communication skills with a proactive approach to learning and development.
* Experience with Revit would be an advantage but not essential.
