We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Auditor to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with industry regulations, particularly in relation to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement within our operations.
Principle Tasks
* Ensure all products produced within following Criteria:
¬ Food safety
¬ Food Quality
¬ Hygiene of all production and external areas
Skills Required
* Take responsibility for monitoring, improving product, process quality and food safety standards, whilst reporting any areas for improvement
* Ensure that product and process controls are carried out in compliance with the company's Quality procedures
* Monitor all intake reports to ensure full traceability on all raw materials and packaging
* Carry out Milk goods in check as per the procedure and report and reject raw material
* Reporting on all process non-conformances with the minimum of delay in order to reduce rejects and need for corrective action
* To ensure the implementation of the quality systems including top line quality manual, policies and procedures/work instructions.
* Responsible for assisting during any internal or external audits, ensuring the staff are adhering to the set standards.
* Be a HACCP team member
* Ensure that CCPs are audited on regular basis
* Meet all individual responsibilities under the Company's Health & Safety Policy and proactively contribute to an improving health and safety culture
* Setting up of X-ray (CCP), online check weigher system, temperature monitoring devices in the relevant area. This will also include all required start up checks.
* Assist in carrying out GMP audits, Glass / Plastic audits and coordinating all routine microbiology, environmental & hygiene tests as per Haldiram Overseas Ltd sampling plan.
* Carry out where necessary Hygiene audits and communicate reports and follow up and close raised actions.
* Complaint handling, investigating, root cause identification and reporting outcome to customer or line manager in timely manner.
Communication
* Ensure effective communication between departments and customers
* Ensure provided KPIs are met
* assist in allergen risk assessments on new raw materials.
* To maintain allergen database for site.
* To raise and follow up programme of action with relevant departments to address issues raised during various audit
* To ensure allergen management programme is adhered
* Maintaining and developing excellent internal and external relationships with other staff
Planning & Organisation
* To adopt a continual improvement approach in all elements of job role
Procedures
* responsible for the reporting any gaps in the Food Safety, Quality Assurance and traceability systems and its application
* Carry out investigation on complaints and where required responding to customers
* Maintain effective communication with internal stake holders and collecting appropriate information.
* Conduct, record, interpret and communicate shelf-life trials, taste panels on all finished products to relevant stake holders.
* To co-ordinate site complaints action group
Miscellaneous
* Overall responsibility for the Hygiene Team
* Overall responsibility for the Quality Manager and the QA team.
* Be able to handle disciplinary procedures in conjunction with HR
Skills & Competencies
* At Least 2 years' experience in quality role in food industry preferably
* Team player with the ability to lead and able to positively interact with all internal departments
* Excellent organizational skills
* Presence and authority
* Ability to communicate at all levels.
* Quality Auditing qualification
* Ability to work to deadline & on their own initiative
