Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Gateman to join our team on a busy newbuild housing development in Telford This role is essential for maintaining the security and smooth operation of the site, ensuring all visitors and deliveries are managed professionally and in line with health & safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manning the site entrance and exit, logging vehicles and personnel
2. Ensuring all visitors sign in/out and follow site rules
3. Checking delivery tickets and guiding vehicles safely on and off site
4. Liaising with site management and contractors as needed
5. Conducting basic site safety checks and reporting any issues
6. Maintaining a tidy and professional gate area
Requirements:
7. Valid CSCS card (essential)
8. Gateman/Traffic Marshall ticket (essential)
9. Previous experience in a similar role
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to remain alert, courteous, and professional at all times
12. Commitment to site safety protocols
