We compete across multiple age groups, with our First Team playing in the SWF Championship, the third tier of Scottish women’s football. Home matches are played at Budhill Park in East Glasgow — a modern facility created through the dedicated efforts of our Trustees and support from the Scottish FA Grassroots Fund and Sport Scotland.
Role Description
This is an on-site volunteer role for a Football Coach based in East Glasgow. We are looking to recruit multiple coaches to work across different age groups and for our First Team in the SWF Championship.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering structured, engaging training sessions
* Developing match strategies and providing in-game guidance
* Collaborating effectively with other coaches and club staff
* Communicating clearly with players (and parents for youth teams)
* Promoting player wellbeing, development, and progression
* Assisting with the organisation of fixtures, events, and team activities
Applicants must be able to commute to East Glasgow for training and matches. The club will provide support with PVG applications.
Qualifications
* First Team roles: UEFA B Licence (minimum)
* Youth Team roles: Relevant coaching qualification (e.g., SFA Children’s or Youth Award, 1.1 or higher)
* Football coaching knowledge and the ability to plan practical sessions
* Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team
* Understanding of youth development principles
* Open to coaches at all career stages, with role-specific qualifications required.
