Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Recruitment and Retention Manager role based in Blackpool. The Recruitment and Retention Manager will oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, retention strategies, and employee engagement. Daily tasks include designing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing the hiring process, identifying retention solutions, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring the organization meets staffing goals. This role requires collaboration with department heads and HR partners to build and sustain a strong, motivated workforce.
Qualifications
* Recruitment and talent acquisition skills, including experience with sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
* Employee retention strategies and knowledge in developing effective retention programs and engagement initiatives.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with employees and leadership.
* Organizational and time management skills for coordinating multiple recruitment processes and employee support initiatives simultaneously.
* Understanding of HR practices and employment laws to ensure compliance and effective workforce management.
* Proficiency in using HR software and tools for recruitment and employee engagement tracking.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or employee relations will be advantageous.
