About this role

You will work within the Programme Management Office (PMO) within OneLSC/Enterprise‑Wide Applications at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Your primary duty will be to support Project Managers with defined projects, ensuring stakeholders and project teams have a clear understanding of objectives, timescales and responsibilities, and that outcomes are achieved using appropriate project management methodologies.

You will also provide advice and ongoing support for projects under the Digital & Health Informatics vision, including post‑delivery maintenance to keep systems effective, secure and available, as well as performance reporting and troubleshooting.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the PMO in developing current and future‑state analyses, aligning with programme deliverables, and driving digital transformation initiatives. You will foster a caring, compassionate culture and ensure staff feel respected and valued. Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to remain calm under pressure and efficiently support Trust staff.

The role thrives in a fast‑paced environment where you will manage multiple tasks and respond rapidly to emergencies. Quick learning, strong prioritisation, and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously are key.


Qualifications

* Educated to A‑level standard or equivalent with proven experience in a business change role
* ECDL/MOST or equivalent qualification/experience
* PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent (desirable)
* Significant work experience within the NHS (desirable)
* Knowledge of business processes supporting clinical service delivery
* Substantial experience with business change or project implementation
* Experience delivering technology solutions for critical business activities
* Sound understanding and operational experience of Microsoft Office and database theory
* In‑depth operational knowledge of QCPR (Trust EPR System) (desirable)
* Proven supervisory experience (desirable)
* Experience monitoring / auditing work processes (desirable)


Pay and Hours

Salary is advertised based on full‑time hours. For posts less than 37.5 hours per week the salary will be pro‑rata. NHS Agenda for Change pay scales apply, and new entrants begin at the first pay point of the relevant band.
