Primary objective of the job: The Visual Implementation and Coordination Manager works closely with the senior VM manager and the Area VM Manager. This role also collaborates with Product and Retail teams to ensure consistent communication of all visual projects in a timely manner. At White Stuff, the customer is central to our brand, and the Visual Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the critical path to deliver effective and commercial product presentation and visual merchandising standards across all categories, aligned with brand guidelines. Reporting to the Senior VM manager, the manager will work with the VM team to ensure product is merchandised commercially, including shop layouts and window displays, to boost sales and business turnover, while communicating directives to the business.
What you'll be doing:
Creative
* Demonstrate high-level knowledge and experience in visual merchandising decisions impacting the business.
* Collaborate with the VM team to ensure a clear and commercial VM proposition from design to shop implementation.
* Deliver VM propositions in shops in partnership with Buying, Design & Creative, and Merchandising teams.
* Apply a strong commercial approach to VM, considering density, product adjacencies, and customer flow.
Organisation
* Manage the VM critical path effectively, overseeing diaries and communications.
* Handle daily responsibilities to allow the senior manager to focus on long-term planning.
* Produce visual guidelines for shops, including phase launches, sale packs, LWS guidelines, and special projects.
* Manage seasonal launch setups and Model Store concepts in collaboration with Retail, Buying, and Merchandising.
* Operate within the VM budget.
* Coordinate with departments to ensure successful execution of in-store signage, window displays, and creative elements to enhance customer connection.
People
* Build strong leadership relationships to uphold visual standards.
* Work with Area Managers to coach and deliver the brand's VM vision in shops.
* Develop effective cross-functional relationships to support product presentation and brand initiatives.
Training
* Engage regularly with shops to ensure VM guidelines are followed and meet current strategies.
* Provide comprehensive visual training for new and existing managers and in-store teams.
* Conduct store visits with the Head of Retail and Area Managers to identify challenges and opportunities, shaping additional visual guidance.
* Support in-store launches to capture real-life product handling for seasonal guidelines.
