Salary Range: £95 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant (EYFS) to join a welcoming early year setting in Littleover. This role is ideal for someone who holds a relevant childcare qualification and has experience supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through play-based and structured learning.
Assist with the personal, social, and emotional development of young children.
Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
Help with daily routines, including toileting, snack times, and transitions
Observe and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and planning
Work closely with the class teacher and other nursery staff to deliver inclusive support.
Foster strong relationships with children, staff, and families.
Requirements:
A relevant childcare or early years qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Supporting Teaching & Learning).
Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
Understanding of early childhood development and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
