Description Occupational Therapist (4 posts) | 10307 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £39,862 to £41,771 per annum | Grade J | Norwich Be part of a service that puts people, relationships and learning at the heart of occupational therapy. Social Care Community Engagement (SCCE) is an ambitious and forward‑thinking ‘front door’ service, committed to doing things differently. We are seeking experienced Occupational Therapists who want to champion a therapy‑first approach, supporting people to live their best life possible through meaningful, person‑led occupational therapy. Our practice is grounded in the principles of Human Learning Systems, recognising that people’s lives are complex, relational and not suited to one‑size‑fits‑all solutions. We value professional judgement, curiosity and learning over process‑driven responses and we create the space for Occupational Therapists to work creatively and responsively alongside people. Relationship‑based practice is at the core of everything we do. We believe strong, trusting relationships are fundamental to achieving sustainable outcomes. You will work with people, not ‘doing to’ them, taking time to understand what matters most and co‑producing bespoke, strengths‑based solutions that support independence, wellbeing and choice. We are looking for Occupational Therapists who bring innovation and creativity, with the knowledge and confidence to think differently. This is a role for practitioners who want to challenge traditional models, test new ideas and use occupational therapy to enable meaningful change at both an individual and system level. At SCCE, your expertise will be valued, your autonomy respected and your ideas encouraged. If you are passionate about relationship‑led practice, committed to Human Learning Systems and motivated to advance occupational therapy as a powerful force for positive change, we would love to hear from you. For further information please contact Mark Lewis on 01603 493641 Before you apply, we recommend reading the full Job Description and Person Specification to help you demonstrate you meet the criteria.
