Tesco Property Maintenance are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician – Refrigeration F Gas Assessor You will be required to carry out quality technical assessments/audits to both Tesco Property Maintenance and contractor serviced stores with regard to refrigeration installed equipment, including diagnosing causes of gas leakage & pre-empting future emissions. Providing effective solutions and escalating where necessary. Reviewing planned maintenance and reactive works are completed to a high standard. Identify trends and possible concerns with store refrigeration systems, providing detailed reports as required. To review refrigeration plant, cold rooms, and other cold chain equipment with regard to leak detection, in association with ensuring all are operational and maintained to a high standard. Completing a detailed leak check & report, and revisiting stores to ensure all issues identified are completed in line with the audit. Effectively diagnose & pre-empt issues relating to F Gas losses with refrigeration equipment and systems and provide effective solutions where necessary. Provide regular updates & reports to key stakeholders on audit status. Support and update information regarding the estate Refrigeration Asset Database. Proactively managing task workflow in conjunction with Tableau data (online reporting portal). Using knowledge and experience to promote “best practise” to other technicians, in the use and recording of F Gas, as per regulations. Delivering non-negotiable standards across Tesco estate, in compliance with F Gas regulations. Carry out and sustain monthly checks regarding technicians leak detection equipment calibration requirements Verisae usage (in use CAFM system). Carry out work in accordance with all Health and Safety requirements and adhere to site safety working practices at all times. Supporting change within the business to ensure continuously improved (CI) performance. Highlighting opportunities to complete tasks in a “better, simpler or cheaper” way. LI-JS1 Must have C&G 2079-11 industry qualification. Must demonstrate a refrigeration mechanical/electrical engineering background, preferably with a knowledge of retail “supermarket” refrigeration. Great communication skills. Experience in a customer focused environment. Great team working experience. The ability to prioritise workloads. Full UK driving licence. IT skills (Microsoft Office) Ideal additional experience: CPC - Refrigeration leak detection/controls, or other fixed leak detection systems. IMS Evolve system monitoring.
