Lecturer in Education (Teaching & Scholarship) – North Wales School of Education
Bangor University is seeking a full‑time, permanent Lecturer in Education (Teaching & Scholarship) to join its North Wales School of Education.
Responsibilities
Support Initial Teacher Education students across primary, secondary, and MA programmes, contributing to teaching, mentoring and professional learning initiatives within the school.
Participate in curriculum development, assessment and quality assurance activities related to teacher education.
Engage with the broader research and scholarship community in education, contributing to the university’s capacity in teacher education and educational research.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate degree level (or PhD) in a relevant subject area, or imminently completing a PhD.
* Expertise in Primary or Secondary education, with additional experience in mentoring and/or professional learning.
* Strong communication skills in Welsh.
* Eligibility to undertake a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Location & Working Arrangement
The role is based on campus at Bangor, with the option to spend some time working remotely within the UK under the Dynamic Working framework.
