Our client is looking to appoint an Estimator to support the pricing and tendering of painting and decorating projects across a range of sectors. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on trade knowledge or estimating experience who is looking to develop within a growing commercial team. Working closely with the Estimating Manager and Senior Estimators, you will assist in producing accurate cost estimates, supporting bid submissions, and ensuring tender information is well prepared and communicated to the wider business. Key Responsibilities Prepare estimates based on drawings, schedules of works, and bills of quantities. Carry out measurements and take-offs for labour, materials, and plant. Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders within agreed deadlines. Maintain accurate tender records and update quotation logs. Support senior team members in managing allocated tenders from enquiry through to submission. Help track tender outcomes and follow up where required. Liaise with clients and main contractors to obtain drawings, specifications, and clarification on scope. Maintain clear communication throughout the tender process. Attend site visits during the tender stage to gain a full understanding of project requirements and constraints.
