School Administrator
St Peter's Primary School
Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 27 per week, 40 weeks sessional
Reporting to the School Business Manager, the School Administrator will be responsible for the smooth operation of the school office and reception in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Front‑facing officer duties for staff, parents, and visitors
* Administrative support and coordination of school activities
* Managing records, correspondence and office supplies
* Assisting the School Business Manager with business support tasks
* Maintaining a welcoming and professional reception area
Qualifications and experience:
* Previous experience in a busy front‑facing administrative role
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Additional requirements:
* Work with children and/or protected adults: Must join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 scheme or undergo an update check.
* Overseas Criminal Record Check required if located outside the UK for at least 3 months in the last 5 years.
