Overview
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Bar and Restaurant Supervisors to help lead our bar and restaurant operations. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role requires a blend of leadership, culinary knowledge, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and patrons. The Bar and Restaurant supervisors will assist management with the overseeing of daily operations, ensuring that all aspects of the bar and restaurant run smoothly while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Supervise staff, fostering a positive team environment
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
* Maintain inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary
* Develop and implement training programmes for staff on food safety, service techniques, and product knowledge
* Create innovative drink menus and specials that align with current trends
* Ensure compliance with health regulations and licensing laws
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production for events or special occasions
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience in a bar or restaurant setting
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
* Background in hospitality or culinary fields is highly desirable
* Experience in food safety practices and regulations is essential
* Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
* Previous experience as a barista would be beneficial
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
