As a Care Worker in our care home, you will help ensure older people feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night. Working as part of the night team, you will provide practical care and reassurance while maintaining a calm environment.
What your night will look like
* Providing personal and intimate care where required
* Supporting residents who wake during the night
* Maintaining a safe and reassuring environment
* Carrying out safety checks and routine tasks
* Completing records in line with procedures
* Working night shifts on a rota basis
About you
You are reliable and committed to delivering high quality care in a care home setting. You are comfortable working independently overnight while following clear care plans and procedures.
Experience in care is welcome but not essential. You will be supported to work towards an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care if required and will be confident using basic IT systems.
You will be required to join the PVG Scheme and register with the SSSC, or be willing to do so.
Eligibility and requirements
As part of the employment, you must have a Christian faith and be able to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos. This is an Occupational Requirement under Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010. You are also required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registered with SSSC.
