Full-Time Teacher – SEMH School (Wirral) Location: Wirral Contract: Full-Time Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs? An SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Wirral is looking for a committed and experienced Full-Time Teacher to join their dedicated team. This specialist setting supports 15 students, all with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). The role requires resilience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to meet the needs of students who present extremely challenging behaviours. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience working in SEMH or similar specialist environments. Strong behaviour management skills with a calm, supportive approach. Ability to create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment. Collaborative mindset to work closely with support staff and external agencies. Creativity and flexibility in planning lessons tailored to diverse abilities. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Previous experience in SEMH or alternative provision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
