Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong organisational ability to assist customers in identifying and obtaining the correct parts for their needs. As a Parts Advisor/Coordinator/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective service.
Responsibilities
* Order Prep: Pre-pick workshop parts, pick customer orders, and check stock availability per enquiries
* Sales & Customer Service: Handle inbound/outbound calls and walk-ins; build relationships via product knowledge and strong first impressions
* Stock Control: Replenish consumables/service parts regularly for quick service to workshop, departments, and trade/retail clients
* Process warranty claims (parts-related) and complete admin (customer records, invoicing) promptly and accurately
Requirements
* Basic level in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experienced in warehouse operations (preferred)
* Possession of a forklift license is highly desirable
* Mechanically inclined, with familiarity in operating AWP/EWP equipment considered an advantage
* Demonstrates professional phone etiquette and effectively manages email inquiries
* Detail-oriented, diligent, positive, a strong team player, and highly reliable
