Counterbalance Forklift Drivers required for our facility at Kettering. As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will earn £30,980 with Woodland Group, driving our modern EP Lithium-ion Forklift Trucks as a Warehouse Operative on our talented Forklift team.

Shift: Nights, 4 on 4 off 7am-7pm.
It is essential that you have an in-date Counterbalance License from an external provider!

About the job:
Tipping and Loading Vehicles
1. Safely operate a forklift to tip and load vehicles in a timely manner, following all safety protocols and adhering to delivery schedules.
2. Ensure proper placement and securing of goods to prevent damage during transportation.
Stock Transfers
3. Execute stock transfers accurately and efficiently, maintaining inventory records and tracking the movement of goods within the warehouse.
Quality Control
4. Perform routine checks on received goods and materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and reporting any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
5. Maintain cleanliness and order in the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Stock Accuracy and Cycle Counts
6. Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
7. Collaborate with the inventory team to resolve any stock discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
Putaways and Picking
8. Safely and efficiently store incoming goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
9. Pick goods for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, while following established SOPs.
Adherence to SOPs
10. Follow all SOPs related to warehouse operations and forklift driving, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Supporting Supervisor and General Manager
11. Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and General Manager in any ad hoc tasks, such as reporting, training, and process improvement initiatives.
12. Collaborate with other team members to promote a positive and efficient work environment.
About you:
13. It is essential you have an in-date counterbalance licence from an external provider.
14. Previous experience in warehouse operations and forklift driving
15. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
16. Excellent organizational and time management skills
17. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
18. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
19. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control software
20. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand and walk for extended periods of time.
