Responsibilities
* Follow care plans and other supporting information regarding residents.
* Inform the Senior Care Assistant/Nurse of any changes in a resident's needs.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of those being supported.
* Develop effective working relationships with colleagues within the service.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for residents.
* Maintain and develop relationships with residents' loved ones.
* Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and act as a role model and ambassador for the service.
* Be professional, polite, and reasonable at all times.
Personal and Professional Development
* Have knowledge of, and work within, the Fundamental Standards.
* Understand the regulatory framework governing the service, including CQC requirements.
* Commit to achieving relevant qualifications commensurate with the role.
* Attend statutory and other training as directed by management.
* Follow all policies and procedures relevant to the role.

About the role
* Essential Criteria
o Qualifications: Good English (written and verbal).
o Skills: Proficient written skills to maintain care plans and care records in line with service policy; communication skills to build rapport with residents and inform colleagues, management, and professionals about their needs; problem-solving skills to adapt to and address situations quickly, develop solutions, and recognise/report situations requiring protection.
o Ability to assist residents with daily tasks by following their care plan (e.g., bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom).
o Previous Experience: Previous experience is not required.
