Role Overview
NHS Grampian is seeking an enthusiastic Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to join our dynamic team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for a period of 9 months. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a forward‑thinking department that is actively redesigning services to deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
Responsibilities
* Play a key role in the Acute Medical Initial Assessment Area (AMIA), Rapid Access Ambulatory Care (RAAC) and the Medical Short Stay Unit (SSMU).
* Contribute to innovative services such as Hospital at Home and Flow Navigation.
* Commit to on‑call duties at approximately 1 in 8.
Qualifications
* Full registration with the GMC and a licence to practise (must be in place prior to starting).
* Clinical experience in acute medicine and related specialties.
* Commitment to clinical governance and continuous improvement.
