With a strong reputation for quality and customer service, we are looking for an experienced Centre Manager to join our team at Signs Express (Huddersfield) and lead our centre to new heights.

1. Location: Signs Express (Huddersfield) Units 15/16, Queens Mill Industrial Estate, Queens Mill Road, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, HD1 3RR
2. Salary: From £35,000 - £40,000 per year dependent on experience
3. Working Hours: Full-time position, Monday-Friday
4. Travel: A full, clean driving licence and own transport is essential for local travel

About the Role:

The Centre Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the Signs Express centre. This role requires a dynamic leader with excellent organisational, sales, and customer service skills. The Centre Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a small team, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.

Role and Responsibilities:

5. Overall management of the business including P&L responsibility.
6. Managing the existing team to perform/deliver in-line with business expectations.
7. Managing workflow and production to ensure quality solutions are delivered on time and to budget.
8. Oversee daily operations of the centre, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
10. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including local partnerships and contracts.
11. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
12. Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth.
13. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and quality products.
14. Implement and maintain high standards of health and safety practices.
15. Lead, motivate, and develop a small team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
16. Prepare and manage the centre’s budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
17. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures where necessary.
18. Manage inventory and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
19. Ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.

Skills and Experience:

20. A minimum four years’ experience in a management role, preferably within the signage or related industry.
21. Strong leadership and team management skills.
22. Excellent sales and business development abilities.
23. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
24. Good understanding of financial management and budgeting.
25. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
26. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
27. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
