Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire - Hybrid working available
Hours: 45 hours per week - Some flexibility on hours available, just let us know!
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our Kier Rail team. You’ll assist in delivering the Oxford Station Phase 2 works, which includes constructing an additional platform and associated track through the existing operational station. Your expertise will help ensure the project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Assisting commercial teams in maximizing sustainable value from contracts while managing subcontractors fairly.
* Compiling monthly payment applications for clients and tracking certifications.
* Gathering, submitting, and agreeing on the financial effects of variations.
* Reporting on project-specific commercial issues for client progress meetings.
* Managing change effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
* Have experience in a similar role within rail, construction, or civils, along with relevant qualifications (e.g., Degree in Quantity Surveying).
* Possess expertise in identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
