About the Role: As a KS1 Class Teacher, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic and supportive team, delivering high-quality learning while developing effective strategies to support behaviour and engagement. Your focus will be on fostering a nurturing learning environment where all children feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive. What You’ll Be Doing: - Deliver creative, well-planned lessons tailored to the needs of all pupils, with particular attention to behaviour support - Promote a positive classroom culture through consistent, proactive behaviour management techniques - Track and evaluate pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting approaches as needed - Collaborate closely with the SENCO, TAs, and fellow teaching staff to create a cohesive learning experience - Engage with parents/carers, building strong relationships to support pupil development both academically and behaviourally - Take part in ongoing professional development, especially around behaviour strategies and inclusive teaching - Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times What We’re Looking For: - QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification - Solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and strong classroom delivery skills - Demonstrated ability to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour - A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement and inclusive education - Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills - ECTs are welcome to apply and must show enthusiasm for behaviour-focused CPD INDMAN
