Senior Motor Trade Account Executive
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive to join our vibrant and busy Motor Trade team based in Croydon. This role is suitable for someone with Motor Trade and Commercial experience, dealing with renewals, existing or new business.
We pride ourselves on adopting a trading culture to win and retain business, with a track record of impressive conversion results. You will liaise with clients, insurers, and colleagues, handling enquiries that may include insurer products & assessing risks, while ensuring adherence to insurer guidelines under Delegated Authority schemes.
You should have good administration and communication skills, with the ability to develop business and client relationships.
As the business grows, there will be opportunities to get involved in other projects, expanding your skills and growing within your role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop Client and Insurer relationships to maximize business opportunities and achieve KPIs, including income targets.
2. Place Motor Trade Combined business within your authority limits and approved markets, referring unusual cases to an experienced colleague or Head Office.
3. Undertake general broking activities including:
* Handling client queries and correspondence.
* Managing New Business, Renewals, and Adjustments, reviewing cover adequacy and terms.
* Conducting insurer surveys and implementing risk improvements.
* Managing your diary effectively.
1. Adhere to policies and procedures as per the Compliance Handbook.
2. Use PIB systems (e.g., Acturis) and keep them updated for management reporting.
3. Liaise with Finance and Credit Control to resolve queries quickly.
4. Attend company and branch meetings, training, and achieve CPD requirements.
