My client is a Top 40 UK firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the UK.They are seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager / Manager to join their specialist Bloodstock & Racing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own portfolio within a niche and growing sector.The role can be based fully remote or from one of their many UK offices.Responsibilities:• Manage a portfolio of bloodstock, racing, equine and rural clients• Prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies• Prepare and review VAT returns and tax computations• Attend client meetings, including occasional on-site visits• Provide financial insight and advisory support• Review work of junior staff and support their development• Ensure assignments are completed to deadline and budgetRequirements:• ACA or ACCA qualified• Strong general practice background• Experience with rural, agricultural or equine clients desirable (or a genuine interest in the sector)• Up-to-date VAT knowledge• Strong IT skills including cloud accounting software• Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicleBenefits:• Competitive salary (DOE)• Flexible working (remote or office-based)• Company pension scheme• Ongoing professional development and progression opportunities• Supportive team environmentShould you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear IT Recruitment Limited.Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
