The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest teaching Trusts in the country. The Trust incorporates the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital, Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and the Horton Hospital in Banbury. The Pharmacy Purchasing and Distribution Team supply medicines across the whole of the OUH NHS Foundation Trust meeting the needs of patients medicine requirements.
The team is based in our warehouse situated on the Unipart site in Cowley, however this post involves rotation across all Oxford Trust sites.
Main duties of the job
Main duties include but are not limited to:
1. Carrying out Pharmacy ward top-up services
2. To pick and pack appropriate goods for delivery to wards and departments.
3. To check and put away Pharmacy deliveries
4. To process returns and waste medicines in line with departmental policy
