The Role
Delta Financial Systems (a Bravura Solutions company) has an immediate opening for a Business Analyst to join our product team. The role involves analysing clients’ business needs and proposing software solutions, acting as the intermediary between client requirements and development teams to introduce new features and functionality to the Azure cloud‑based Platinum platform.
The role is highly collaborative across the Business Analyst team and the wider company, requiring an analytical mindset and creative thinking.
Responsibilities
* Work with a variety of stakeholders including subject matter experts and technical stakeholders.
* Discover, assess, and design solutions for user needs.
* Document and refine solutions following feedback.
* Review and provide feedback on peers’ solutions.
* Progress features through the product development lifecycle from requirements handover to feature development completion.
* Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, and testers.
* Demonstrate newly developed features to a range of audiences.
Person Profile
* 2 – 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in the Financial Technology sector.
* You are a self-starter and enthusiastic.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills to enable effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
* Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills to interpret requirements and design solutions.
* High degree of critical thinking and attention to detail.
* Ability to plan, organise, and structure work independently.
Core Skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication with non-technical and technical audiences; experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience producing business process flow diagrams and use case diagrams.
* Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Practical knowledge of writing SQL queries and understanding of relational databases.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Secondary / Advantageous Skills
* Experience in financial services, desirably pensions.
* Experience in Agile teams, preferably following Scrum methodology.
* Exposure to microservices and APIs.
* Relevant certification in Business Analysis.
