Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to children living in our 2 bedded Ofsted Registered home. This role will include working shifts on a 2 on, 4 off rota. Sleep ins are paid at £65.00.
Duties
* Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs and preferences.
* Provide emotional support, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
* Supervise and lead a team of support staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals to coordinate care.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in residential children's homes.
* Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate others.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is advantageous.
