The University of Salford is seeking an Assistant Head of Income to play a key leadership role within the Finance team. This role leads a dedicated group responsible for credit control activities and the administration of tuition fee payment plans, representing the function across high‑profile projects and working groups, and contributing to system enhancements and upgrades while managing relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, motivate and supervise a small team.
* Maximise student income and minimise bad debts by efficient debt chasing and adherence to best practice.
* Coordinate the team’s efficient processing of the financial aspects of student registration.
* Handle complex cases and respond to complaints in line with the university’s guidelines.
* Act as a subject‑matter expert for fee collection.
