Actuarial Analytics & Insights (Protection)
The team is responsible for analysing and explaining financial results for both existing and new business under various reporting bases.The team works across functions supporting strategic decisions and improving understanding of the Protection business's financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse and explain financial results, including attribution, sensitivities, and future scenarios
Assist in business performance reviews and suggest actionable insightsWork with cross-functional teams to support reporting and financial understandingContribute to the development of economic insights for the European Protection business
Requirements
Part-qualified actuary with at least 2 years' experience in life insurance or reinsuranceStrong understanding of actuarial valuation principlesExperience in the UK Protection market (preferred)Strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with actuarial software (e.g., Tyche, or others)Analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage workloads and meet deadlines independentlyStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesComfortable with change, adaptable and proactive
